About Us

Welcome to our feline health community. We are a small, dedicated team of passionate cat parents and volunteers who have spent the last year running a grassroots stray cat rescue and rehabilitation project.

What started as a local effort to trap, neuter, and rehome neighborhood strays quickly opened our eyes to a larger problem: the internet is filled with conflicting advice, outdated myths, and dangerous “home remedies” that often do more harm than good. When a rescued cat is sick or behaving strangely, every second counts.

Driven by our frontline rescue experience, our mission evolved: Empowering cat owners worldwide with accurate, science-based, and actionable information to help their feline companions live longer, healthier lives.

Our Mission

Our goal is to bridge the gap between complex veterinary science and practical, everyday cat parenting. We aim to be your most trusted resource for understanding feline health, behavior, and preventative care. Every article we publish is born from the real-world challenges we’ve faced in rescue, elevated by rigorous veterinary oversight.

Why Trust Us?

We take the responsibility of providing pet health information incredibly seriously. To ensure the highest quality content, we adhere to a strict editorial policy:

1. Medically Reviewed Content

Every article concerning feline health, disease management, and critical behavior is reviewed by a member of our Veterinary Advisory Board. These board-certified veterinarians and specialists ensure our content aligns with the latest clinical guidelines and veterinary research.

2. Evidence-Based & Authoritative

We do not rely on hearsay or anecdotal evidence. Our content is sourced from and references top-tier veterinary organizations, including:

  • 香港兽医学会 (Hong Kong Veterinary Association)
  • 香港猫科医学会 (Hong Kong Feline Medicine Association)
  • The American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP)
  • The International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM)
  • The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)
  • World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA)
  • European Society of Feline Medicine (ESFM)
  • Japanese Society of Feline Medicine (JSFM)
  • Australian Feline Medicine Association (AFMA)
  • 康奈尔大学兽医学院 (Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine)
  • 伦敦皇家兽医学院 (Royal Veterinary College, London)
  • 加州大学戴维斯分校兽医学院 (University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine)
  • 东京大学兽医学院 (University of Tokyo School of Veterinary Medicine)

3. Clear Distinctions Between Advice and Diagnosis

IMPORTANT MEDICAL ADVICE NOTICE: Our website provides only educational and informational content. The information presented is not a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. If your cat is showing signs of illness, injury, or distress, please seek immediate veterinary care.

We firmly believe that online information can never replace a physical examination by your own veterinarian. Our articles are designed to help you recognize symptoms early, understand the science behind a condition, and manage home care in partnership with your vet. We will never prescribe medication, diagnose your cat online, or replace the critical role of a licensed veterinarian in your cat’s healthcare.

Always consult your veterinarian first for any health concerns with your cat. Prompt veterinary care can be life-saving, and self-diagnosis based on online information can delay necessary treatment.

4. Independence and Transparency

Our editorial integrity is our most valuable asset. While we may participate in affiliate programs to fund our operations, our product recommendations and medical advice are never influenced by potential commissions. For full transparency, please read our Affiliate Disclosure and Terms of Use.

Meet the Team: Volunteers & Rescuers

Behind every article on our website is a team of dedicated volunteers who spend their nights trapping, rehabilitating, and fostering stray and feral cats. While our Veterinary Advisory Board ensures our medical accuracy, it is our field team who translates that science into practical, everyday advice for cat parents.

Because our team frequently operates in sensitive environments—often dealing with contentious community disputes, hoarding situations, and illegal breeding operations—we maintain a strict privacy policy. You won’t find our real faces or last names here, but you will find our hard-earned experience.

Alex — Lead Trapper & Intake Coordinator Alex has spent the last year organizing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) colonies across the county. They specialize in the delicate art of socializing feral kittens and helping deeply traumatized adult cats decompress in a home environment. If you’re reading an article about how to handle a fearful cat or set up a safe room, it’s written from Alex’s countless nights sitting quietly on the floor with a can of tuna.

Sam — Neonatal Foster Specialist Affectionately known as the “Bottle Baby Whisperer,” Sam takes on our most critical cases: orphaned kittens under four weeks old. Sam’s expertise lies in precise nutritional management, syringe feeding protocols, and weight tracking. Their articles on feline nutrition and life-stage feeding are born from the literal life-and-death reality of neonatal rescue.

Riley — Chronic Care & Hospice Foster Riley is the heart of our hospice program, dedicating their home to senior cats and felines with terminal illnesses like advanced CKD or feline leukemia. Riley writes our most difficult—and most important—content. From providing supportive fluid care at home to navigating the emotional weight of end-of-life care, Riley’s articles provide compassionate, judgment-free guidance for owners managing chronic disease.

Meet Our Veterinary Advisory Board

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to accurate, science-based, and compassionate feline care. We understand that navigating your cat’s health can be overwhelming, which is why we’ve partnered with a dedicated team of feline specialists.

Our Veterinary Advisory Board ensures that every piece of advice, action plan, and medical insight you read has been rigorously reviewed for clinical accuracy and safety. They bring decades of combined clinical experience directly to your screen, volunteering their time to support our rescue-driven mission.

🔒 Privacy & Identity Protection Policy:
Because our advisors frequently provide pro-bono consultations for sensitive rescue cases, animal hoarding interventions, and contentious community welfare situations, we strictly protect their personal privacy. To prevent workplace harassment at their primary clinics and ensure their safety in volatile rescue environments, their actual portraits, clinic locations, and direct contact information are permanently withheld from the public domain. We deeply appreciate your understanding as we prioritize their safety while they generously guide our medical content.
